Kati graduated from Bishop Ready High School in 2002. She became the starting pitcher for the Silver Knights as a sophomore. She was named to the All CCL and All Central-District teams twice during her high school career. She was offered a college softball scholarship to Wright State University where she continued her education and softball career.
Kati was a member of the Raiders Horizon League Tournament Championship Team during her freshman year. She threw her first college no-hitter against Wittenberg University during her sophomore year. Acquiring a shoulder injury that required surgery, her softball career with the Raiders ended in her junior year.
It was during her 7 months of physical therapy and recovery that Kati discovered her great passion for health and fitness. She learned what it was going to take to get her health and strength back on track while she devoted her time to learning how to work thru her new weaknesses, strengths, and setbacks. She has committed her time to teaching herself and others how to take control of their own health and work thru their own obstacles and setbacks to reach their own personal goals.
After rehabilitation was complete, Kati became a teaching assistant in women’s strength and conditioning physical education classes.
Kati earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership, which was geared toward assuming leadership roles in all arenas.
Since graduating from Wright State University, she has worked and spent time in local gyms learning different styles of training from group to individual focus.
Kati has transferred her leadership skills to guiding and working with youth and general population. She is excited to become a part of the LIFT team and to help individuals reach their personal goals and physical best.
